Our strong relationship with our friends at Abana Coffee Estates has allowed us the privilege of being able to carry this amazing coffee for 4 years and running. This coffee is a staff and regular favorite, driving the adventurous side of our coffee line-up.
Abana Coffee Farm is social business started by the Omran family in a gorgeous rain forest at 1,930 - 2,200 Meters above sea level. Their focus has been a private farm in the Gera area of Ethiopia that is a 300 hectares 100% shade grown farm. Their goal has always been to produce amazing and unique coffees while impacting the farm and local community for the better. Abana is all about quality and excellence in everything they do and this is why we work with them.
Grown at an altitude of 1,930 to 2,200 meters in a shady rainforest, this coffee has a long growing season that allows the coffee cherries to ripen at a pace that encourages fruity flavors and playful, complex acidity that is well represented through many brewing methods. The natural iteration of the Anderacha remind us of watermelon, ripe plums, and strawberries.
