The Long Miles Coffee Project has once again provided us with an exciting coffee from the Kayanza Province in Burundi. This coffee hails from Giku Hill, a region that lies beyond the reach of electricity on the fringes of the Kibira Rainforest. Coffee is the most vital crop grown on the hill, and you can really taste just how much care and intention went into harvesting each cherry.

This honey processed coffee left us intrigued with its complex layers of flavors, and we can't stop reaching for another sip. We found it to be reminiscent of dark red flavors, such as baked plum and mulled wine, giving way to malt and clove, and finishing with a buttery mouthfeel. As comforting as it is fascinating, we hope this coffee becomes your go-to autumn cup.
