This coffee was brought to us by our friend Cesar who is originally from Guatemala. His family has owned various agricultural farms there as he grew up. Cesar has been helping bring Guatemalan coffees from around where he grew up for a few years now and we're excited to bring this coffee to you that he helped us source. This coffee is from a single estate and the farmer is Jose Arnoldo Padilla Salazar.
When we tasted this coffee we loved the apple and malic acidity that stood throughout the whole cup. It was coupled with a winey-like fruitiness that resembled dark chocolate cherries and blackberry jam. There was a heavy maple sweetness throughout and a super silky body. We love this coffee and are sure you will too.
